Principal’s Notes

Happy New Year and welcome back for second semester at City High School. While core class schedules are the same as last semester, students start new electives this week. Build Your Own Computer, Student Judiciary Committee, and City High Writing Center are three brand-new electives we’re excited to offer for the first time this semester. If you or your student have questions about elective classes, please have them check in with their advisor or with Academic Director Brett Goble (bgoble@cityhighschool.org).

The Intersession Week January 2-6 provided opportunity for a variety of special activities and gatherings. We had an excellent participation rate in the student conferences, with over 80% of the students and parents involved. If you were unable to set up a conference last week and would like to schedule one, please contact your son or daughter’s advisor or call the office and we can help you. Report cards will be sent home this week, so please look for those in the mail and let us know if yours does not arrive.
